E.V. - BONSAI STYLES - CHOKKAN - ERECTED FORMAL

CHOKKAN (ERECTED FORMAL)

Formed from a single plant straight, it has the apex perpendicular to the base of the trunk. The branches, held every three (left, rear, left or right, rear, left) alternating with symmetry along the trunk, tapering up towards the apex. The first branch, which should be approximately equal one third of the total height of the trunk, determines placement in a vase. In fact the plant, should be positioned in a decentralized manner, on the opposite side of the latter.
